Join us for an evening concert in the National Arboretum's Ellipse Meadow on Friday, July 25th at 6 PM. Enjoy a picnic while you listen to Buck Forty Nine play music inspired by classic country, rockabilly, rock, and the blues.
The concert is free to attend, but a suggested donation to FONA of at least $15 is encouraged (this donation does not qualify for a FONA membership). Registration is not required, but please register to let us know you're coming and to receive weather-related event updates.

Please plan to arrive early to allow time to park and walk to the Ellipse Meadow for the event. This event will start at 6 PM, but visitors can arrive at the Arboretum as early as they want to explore and enjoy the grounds before the event. Last admittance onto the Arboretum grounds is at 7:30 PM.
Use the R Street entrance () to enter/exit the Arboretum. The New York Avenue entrance will close at 2 PM on weekdays from June 1 through August 30.
ARRIVING BY CAR: Parking is free at the Arboretum, and is available at the R Street, Grove, and New York Avenue parking lots. Accessible parking is available in the R Street parking lot. See the map below for more details.
ARRIVING BY PUBLIC TRANSIT, RIDESHARE, FOOT, BIKE: The Arboretum is not located on a Metro rail line, but is near Union Station. From there, you can take a bus, rideshare, or bike to the Arboretum. Capital Bikeshare has a hub outside the R Street entrance for bike rentals.

Without the help of volunteers like you, events like these would not be possible. For this concert we are looking for volunteers to help set up the space before the event, direct visitors to the event from parking lots, staff our information table, and clean up at the end of the evening.
