Miraco might be a new name, but these guys are Seattle honky-tonk and alt-country veterans. Their cover of Maps by Yeah Yeah Yeahs shows how they weave classic, heavy alternative rock with country soul and heartfelt passion. Chimestone's debut album, “Just for Grins,” recently re-released on vinyl, is guitar-based and focused on melodic songcraft throughout. It was the first independently released record from Seattle's Bad Animals Studio to sell over 5,000 copies without significant label support.
