Early Bird and full price Member tickets prices are available for registered RIGS members only. Non-members are encouraged to join RIGS to receive the member price. Members who wish to bring a spouse or one other household resident at the member rate can change to a dual membership for an additional $12.50/year. Lauren Fogarty, M.A. serves as Program Coordinator for the Rhode Island Semiquincentennial Commission (RI250), leading efforts to commemorate Rhode Island’s role in the American Revolutionthrough public programs, civic engagement, and heritage tourism. She collaborates withgovernment agencies and community partners to connect the state’s historical legacy withpresent-day education and public outreach. With a background in Political Science andInternational Relations, Lauren is dedicated to fostering informed, engaged communitiesthrough impactful programming and strategic initiatives.
Ashley Selima, MLIS, MPA, CA serves as Director of State Archives & Public Records Administrationfor the state of Rhode Island and works with agencies and stakeholders throughout the state to ensure propercare and management of public records for their entire lifecycle. She is passionate about universal access to information and positive user experience in discovery of historic collections. She leads the State Archives Division in planning, coordinating, and connecting with the community through public events, assistance, and outreach.
