This is one of my favorite trips. We have done it many times.
So much to do. Sea kayak (Gulf or Bay or area rivers), Roller blade, paddle board, road bike veg out on the beach or in camp and of course world class sea food in camp from Joe Patties or hit a local restaurant. Got a new toy? A great place to test it out.
Afternoon treat margaritas at Peg Leg Pete’s.
Added benefit for this weekend is the Blue Angle air show. Their last show for the season.
We usually do group cooking and share the cost. This year we will do group meals for Friday and Saturday evening and Saturday breakfast. I’ll bring the kitchen!! If you have a portable grill, bring it if you can.
We have booked Site D5 for the group hang out. I have reserved site E4 If your interested booking a site do it early as this is a busy weekend. You can get 2 tent's per site and up to 8 people. In the past this has been a long weekend event, but this year it will be a little longer for those who have the time. I am checking in on November 3rd and checking out November 10th. You can spend as much time as you want.
We are 6 months out so some of the details may change. Check back often.
