The Type II Supervisor course consist of two parts. The Type II Supervisor course and the instrument labs.
Type II Supervisor: August 4th - 8th, 2025
[Mon-Thu] 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
[Fri] 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
The instrument labs are conducted the following week.
EC/IR II Lab: Monday, August 11th
AS-IV Lab: Tuesday, August 12th
DMT and 8000 labs: Wednesday, August 13th
All labs take place 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Registration Requirements:
- You must be a P.O.S.T. certified law enforcement officer with a minimum of two years of service as a law enforcement officer OR be a full-time employee of a jail or detention facility.
- You must possess a valid Type III permit.
- You must have maintained a valid permit for no less than one year for the instrument for which you want to be a Type II Supervisor.
- Your Department owns one or more breath alcohol instruments or is in the process of obtaining one from the Breath Alcohol Program.
- Your Department currently has less than two Type 2 Supervisors.
Core Curriculum: Course has a total of 36 C.E.H.’s (6 Legal Studies, 21 Technical Studies and 9 Skill Development)
**Tuition is waived for qualified Missouri Law Enforcement Officers through funding by MoDOT grants. Agencies are responsible for lodging and other expenses unless otherwise noted.**
