The Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers' Market will begin its 27th Season of "Bringing the Farm to You" every Friday afternoon from 3-6 p.m. from May 30th to October 10th. The market is an event of Warrensburgh Beautification Inc., a non-profit organization, celebrating its 41st year! If you are interested in signing up for all of our festivals, consider signing up for the season. This will allow you to attend additional markets and reduce your cost. The cost per market when signing up for the season is only $5 per market.
We are living in a world of global food insecurity, and knowing where our food comes from, how it was naturally grown or raised, and that it has the highest nutritional value is more important than ever. For twenty-seven years, our market has been here for our community and welcoming visitors to share the bounty of our land and support local businesses.
We have six festivals throughout the season - Rhubarb (May 30th), Strawberry (June 13th), Blueberry (July 18th), NEW: Tomato (August 22nd), Apple (September 12th) and Garlic (October 10th). These festivals have become so popular that we have outgrown our weekly market location. Once again, starting with Rhubarb, our festivals will be held in the pavilion at our Recreation Field on Library Avenue, where ample parking is available. For vendors who need to have their vehicles close, this will not be a problem. Also, no tents are needed. There are bathroom facilities and electricity, so no worries! We also have picnic tables to have patrons sit and enjoy the sampler plates that are free and feature the festival's theme.
We will be adding a new festival, and one that will surely attract gardeners and local foodies alike - 🍅Tomato🍅. We will celebrate with many varieties of tomatoes and all types of value added products like salsas, hot sauce, sauces, soups, preserves and so much more... If you grow rhubarb, strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes, apples or garlic, please think of joining one or all of our festivals!
