§ Welcome and Introductions – Aaron Stearns, Chair, Warren County Democratic Committee
§ How important Social Security is to all of us - Pat Evans
§ Brief History – Ruth Barnes Shaw, PhD., will describe how Frances Perkins, the first woman in any US Presidential cabinet, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt created and then ushered this act into being
§ Going forward – Jacob Devereaux will encourage us to celebrate AND work to preserve this Act.
5:00 – 5:30 RALLY Along Market St. and 4th Avenue
Please bring signs – very positive ones only, of course, for this Celebration. Convey what Social Security means to you or just proclaim Happy Anniversary – 90 years of a terrific service to people - so those driving by will know how proud we are of that fact!!
