Our sensory systems can play a major influence on our emotions, behaviour and how we regulate our feelings. As parents we can (usually!) identify when we feel over stimulated, but how can we recognise this in our children and how can we create environments that are going to be supportive of sensory equilibrium leading to more calm and greater connection.
