✨ HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS ✨
Hi folks!
These school holidays I will be running 4 all-day (10am - 4pm) workshops for students interested in improving their musical skills, and their crochet skills/knowledge.
All workshops are $70pp, and include lunch, afternoon tea, and all supplies.
🎷 July 7th - Woodwind Ensemble 🎷
For students aged between 10-16 who play picc/flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone (alto and tenor) bassoon, and oboe. Students will spend the day improving their sight reading by skills, and gain confidence playing a part by themselves. We will play as a group and then divide into smaller groups and hone our small ensemble skills.
🪈July 9th - Flute Choir🪈
For students aged between 10-16 who play piccolo and or flute, who want to improve upon their playing, and focus on a range of flute repertoire. Students will spend the day learning tips and tricks about the flute, and will experience playing in a flute-only ensemble. We will split into small groups and hone our duet and trio skills.
🧶July 11th - Crochet Workshop🧶
For students aged between 8-14 who want to learn how or have a basic knowledge of crochet and would like to learn more. After learning the basic key skills, students will pick one of four patterns to apply their newfound skills and knowledge to, and will work towards solidifying that knowledge. If time allows, students may pick another pattern to work towards at home. Students are welcome to bring their own supplies if they have them!
🎤July 14th - Singing Workshop🎤
For students between 10-14 who love to sing and want an opportunity to sing in a choir. We will go over a range of music, and learn a bit of sight singing, as well as tips and tricks to keep our voices healthy and always ready to sing our favourite songs. If time allows, confident students may bring along a song they want to work on or have been working on to perform to the group, and have advice given on how to improve their performance.
