Swift Talk by Gavin Vicary (NE Herts Swifts)

With the arrival of the first #swifts, here's the first of a few activities we have planned for this summer:

31st May 2.30pm Christ Church Ware Main Hall - Talk about swifts by Gavin Vicary.

Gavin works closely with Ware Swifts, making some of the boxes like the bespoke ones for St Mary's Church, Ware. He has made swift nest boxes for many of the churches all around Hertfordshire as well as some of the boxes that are now mostly made by Ware Men's Shed.

Gavin is also the volunteer warden at Patmore Heath and is very knowledgeable about all different kinds of wildlife.

This is a free event with refreshments served from about 2pm.
