Immerse in the soothing rhythm of slow stitching, creating a wildflower meadow with layered fabric and a variety of threads. This workshop celebrates imperfection and mindful creativity, as well as nature and flowers.
Structure & Content:
- Introduction to slow stitching and the concept of mindful making.
- Choosing you colour palettes inspired by wildflower meadows.
- Basic fabric collage techniques to create layers and depth.
- Starting with simple stitches to anchor the design.
Exploring a variety of embroidery stitches for texture (e.g., French knots, seed stitch, lazy daisy) layering different threads for a rich, organic look.
Your workshop ticket includes all materials and equipment including fabric, ribbons, beads, needles, threads, scissors, detailed handouts, and access to online support videos and a card to mount your wildflower meadow on.
For a small additional fee of £8 you can also take home a frame to show off your beautiful stitching, ready to hang on the wall.
This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a fun, mindful project—no experience needed!

Make your own Happy craft kits are designed to inspire and encourage your creativity, while also promoting relaxation and mindfulness. Each kit comes with all the materials you need to complete a beautiful and unique project, along with instructions that are easy to follow.

The workshop is being run with a maximum capacity of 10 participants and will be from 10;30am – 1pm at a cost of £35. Tea or Coffee will be provided.
The session will be held in our Downstairs Function Space with entry via the main front door on Kibes Lane Car Park.
