Beginners Crochet

This beginner-friendly 3 hour workshop is designed for first-timers who want a relaxed, hands-on introduction to the craft. You will learn the essential skills you need to create your first small project including:
- How to hold your yarn and hook comfortably
- How to make a slip knot and chain
- Basic stitches
- How to turn your work and keep your edges neat
- How to fasten off and weave in your ends
All materials are provided, although if you do own your own set of hooks, please bring them along. We have tea and biscuits but feel free to bring your own if you prefer and use our little kitchen. Children welcome accompanied by an adult - there will be space to sit nearby, enjoy a brew, use wifi, etc. Tickets cost £32 for 3 hours of tuition, refreshments, materials and equipment.
