Overdose Prevention & Naloxone (NARCAN) Training

Join us Wednesday, October 1 at 6:30 PM for a free, one-hour Overdose Prevention and Naloxone (NARCAN) Training led by a representatives from FORDO (Friends of Recovery Delaware Otsego). Learn how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose, safely administer NARCAN, and understand the importance of this life-saving medication in our community. The session will also cover the physiology of overdose, risk factors, the Good Samaritan Law, and essential aftercare steps. Open to adults; held on the library’s lower level.
