Join us on Saturday Aug. 9 at 9:30 AM for Grateful Dead Shabbat:
“Let there be songs to fill the air!” Temple Beth Israel of Waltham MA invites you to a Shabbat morning infused with melodies of the Grateful Dead. August 9 is Jerry Garcia’s secular yahrtzeit (which concludes fans’ “Days Between”) and it is T”u be-Av (15th of Av), Jews’ “Valentine’s Day”. Temple member and Grateful Dead scholar Scott A. Tepper will help us make a fine connection between the music, Shabbat, love, and each other. Services begin at 9:30am Eastern.
