Plot Summary:

Widely considered one of the funniest plays in English, Wilde’s much-loved masterpiece The Importance Of Being Earnest throws love, logic and language into the air to make one of theatre’s most dazzling firework displays.

Two bachelors, Jack and Algernon, create alter egos named "Ernest" to escape their social obligations and win the hearts of two charming ladies, Gwendolen and Cecily. As their deceptions unravel, hilarity ensues, revealing the absurdities of Victorian society and the importance of being true to oneself.
