Heather Farm/Canal Trail Walk in Walnut Creek

We'll be in the first parking lot on the right when you enter Heather farms off Ignacio Valley road.

We'll walk from Heather Farms park through Walnut Creek along the canal trail, then turn around and return to the park.

THE WALK: It's all flat and paved. The canal trail winds through the center of Walnut Creek in between housing developments. It's about 4.5 miles and takes about 1.5 hours.

AFTER THE WALK: We'll meet afterward at Peet's Coffee on Ygnacio Valley Road, across from the park.

PARKING: Free
