Widely recognised as one of the UKs finest jazz and soul vocalists, Rachael Calladine brings an evening of world class vocal led jazz alongside her stellar trio. Rachael is a regular performer at Ronnie Scott's, and The 606 Club alongside all other major jazz venues in the UK and Europe.
Expect swinging standards, sultry blues and latin grooves delivered with soul and feel good vibes. The gig will feature brand new original material, familiar and lesser known tunes from her quartets critically acclaimed latest album 'The Game' released through 33 Jazz Records on March 20th 2025. With support from Jazz Fm (where they were track of the week), Radio 3 and other national and international radio play, the band have been selling out venues up and down the UK during 2025.
Joining Rachael for this very special evening is none other than Alan Barnes - a true icon of British jazz. A multi-award-winning saxophonist and clarinetist, Alan is renowned as one of the most versatile and respected figures on the London jazz scene. With over 30 British Jazz Awards to his name and twice crowned BBC Jazz Musician of the Year, he brings a wealth of experience, virtuosity, and charisma to the stage.
Alan’s recording and performance career spans decades. He has released over 30 albums as a leader or co-leader, and his extensive session work includes collaborations with Björk, Bryan Ferry, Michel Legrand, Clare Teal, Westlife, Jools Holland, and Jamie Cullum.
