We are getting into that time of year again!🎅
I have officially started the planning of the 2025 Ronald McDonald House Toy Run. Any size bike is welcome to join as this will be a slow ride from H Cafe to the Ronald McDonald House in Oxford.
WHAT DOES THE CHARITY ACTUALLY DO?
Having a child in hospital is unimaginable for families. At Ronald McDonald House Charities UK, we ease some of the burden by providing free ‘home away from home’ accommodation.
Our 14 Houses across the UK give families a warm and comfortable place to rest, eat and relax, just moments away from their child’s hospital ward. Our support is invaluable to families at a critical time in their lives. Please head to the website if you wish to read some family stories.
WHAT TO BRING:
The donations can be gifts for any ages whether that be for children or even for the parents staying in the building. If there are any chocolates pleas ensure they do not contain nuts.
WHERE TO GO:
We will meet at H Cafe in Berinsfield for 10am and will be leaving at 10:30 SHARP. If you are wanting to get food beforehand I would suggest showing up earlier.
THE RIDE OUT:
The ride will be slow paced with a top speed of no more than 50 at any point. This ride will have NO OVERTAKING unless you are a marshal or if I have personally asked you for other reasons. No route as of yet.
UPON ARRIVAL:
When we arrive we will park up and get a picture outside the building with all of the bikes and riders in the pic. We will then head inside to drop off the presents and you will be able to help yourself to drinks & biscuits.
