Central CT NEMBA Intermediate Women’s Ride 2025

Description: No-drop ride for intermediate female and female-identifying riders held on Wednesday nights. 5-6 mph pace, 8-10 mile distance.

Intermediate riders typically can say yes to the following:

· You’ve been mountain biking consistently for at least 2 years

· You can brake, use gears, and corner with confidence. You have good bike handling skills and feel comfortable riding through double track and non-technical single track.

· You are comfortable climbing and descending moderately steep singletrack w/ loose rocks or roots.

· You are comfortable riding at a moderate sustained pace.

· You are comfortable and confident rolling over small obstacles like roots, rocks, and small rollable drops.

· You have a mountain bike with at least a front suspension, though a full suspension may be best in some ride locations.

· You can navigate basic mechanical issues, such as a flat tire or a dropped chain.
