Picture it! Miami Beach, where the beloved four ladies (Blanche, the sexy Southern Bell; Dorothy, the brainy New Yorker; Rose, the dimwitted Midwesterner; and Sophia, the wise-cracking Italian) are sharing their peaceful golden years together…that is, until guest star, pop singer Ricky Martin, moves next door. His loud, all-night salsa sessions are keeping the ladies from getting a good night’s sleep. What’s worse, they have to get up early and rehearse their act for the annual Shady Pines Retirement Home Talent Show! What ensues is a feud that can only end with one household taking home first place at the talent show.
Before the show kicks off, warm up your brain and get ready for some fun with Golden Girls Trivia at 7:00 PM! Put your knowledge of Dorothy’s sarcasm, Blanche’s charm, Rose’s stories, and Sophia’s one-liners to the test. The trivia will run for 30 minutes, with exciting prizes for the top Golden Girls fans. It's the perfect way to get in the mood for the laughs and antics to come at 7:30 PM.
The Square Foot Theatre is an intimate experience where patrons are encouraged to bring their own food, and a full bar is available on-site (outside beverages are prohibited). The Tavern opens at 6:30 PM, so arrive early, grab a drink, and get ready for a night full of laughs, drama, and fabulous 80s nostalgia!
THE GOLDEN GIRLS MUSICAL PARODY is a live, laugh-out-loud send-up of the classic TV sitcom, featuring an original pop score, a flashy '80s fashion show, and all the best moments from the series. The Dallas Examiner raves, “THANK YOU FOR BEING A FRIEND is packed with songs, shtick, soft shoe, and pop culture gags that’ll leave you in stitches.” From 2012–2019, it played to sold-out crowds at NYC’s Laurie Beechman Theatre and has since toured extensively across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.
