The old Woodlands and Coastline of Wallasey contains tales of Poldies (fairies) and epic sagas. From mystical stories of Witches to Mermaids, Ghostly Tales and Smugglers. Children going to Liscard Vale woods were told to come home before dark, because that was when the Poldies came out. Visit the Witches Clearing and learn of the Hanging Tree. Hear the Customs and Traditions that have been passed down through generations and old Games & Celebrations that have been lost in Time. Our informative walking tours weave in and out of eras, taking you on a journey through time.
