Insect Exploration and Drawing – Neurodiverse Arts Session with Lo Tierney
Join us for a relaxed and inspiring afternoon exploring the fascinating world of insects through art, designed specifically for neurodiverse participants.
Led by local artist Lo Tierney, this inclusive session invites you to connect with nature and express your creativity by observing and drawing a variety of insects. We’ll spend time gently exploring outdoor spaces, learning about different species, and then bringing them to life on paper using a range of drawing materials.

This is the first in a series of accessible, creative sessions designed to support mental wellbeing and community connection. No art experience is necessary — just bring your curiosity!
This event is part of our plans to build the Bugdelphi Hotel at a community event in Sept, a space for local insects and pollinators to live at the site.

Where is the site?
Telegraph Lane is a pedestrian path between Green Lane and Leasowe Road. The lane runs alongside a series of fields, formerly the market gardens for Wallasey.The site is a 10 min walk from Wallasey Grove Road station. The Earth Moves site can be accessed by foot and bicycle from Bayswater Road, turning onto Green Lane and walking up the lane for 480 meters. It is also within walking distance of the North Wirral Coastal Car Park on Green Lane, Wallasey CH45 8NA.
There is no public car parking at the site itself, the North Wirral Coastal Car Park is a short walk away. Bicycle parking is available.
