August Science Saturday - Lights! Color! Sound!

Come visit LIGO this Saturday, August 2nd 2025 for the monthly public event of Science Saturday from 10am to 4pm. This month’s theme is Lights! Color! Sound! So the lobby’s hands-on activities will center around those three things. It’s great for the whole family with the lobby activities, interactive exhibit hall and tours given by staff. Tours this month will follow the summer schedule of 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm and 2:30pm.

Please note there is nowhere to purchase food or drink on site, so keep that in mind when planning lunch or snacks. There is a covered pavilion if you want to bring your own food.
