Pokè Peeps! Ky from PokèCon here.
You’re probably wondering why it took so long to announce the June installment of PokéCon, our monthly pokemon card show in Massachusetts.
WELL, that’s because it almost wasn’t going to happen! Between some town sponsored events that came up on our show’s date, and working with our vendor groups schedules, we weren’t sure if we were going to make it work.
Fear not! We figured SOME PokéCon is better than NO PokéCon, and were able to salvage the day! While it will entail some incoming changes to our summer schedule, we are happy to announce PokèCon June at the Dolbeare Elementary School, still on June 7th in Wakefield, MA!
While you’ll only see about 50 tables filled with pokemon, instead of the normal 80~ (oh, the travesty!) you’ll still get to see the BEST pokemon vendor group in New England with one of the widest selections of pokemon cards you can find. We might’ve changed locations but the vibes stay the same!
June 7th PokéCon will be at the same location our midweek show was, NOT at the high school, and NOT at the Civic Center! Instead, you'll find us at the Dolbeare Elementary School, located at 340 Lowell St, Wakefield, MA. The gym will be filled with pokemon, while the openly connected cafeteria can be used to rest, trade, and play with other enthusiasts!
There is a parking lot behind the school (off of Vernon St), as well as street + neighborhood parking all along Lowell Street, including in front of the school. Parking WILL fill fast and may not be available towards the end of the show. The Dolbeare is smaller than our usual venues!
We are grateful that despite everything, we are still able to put on a show for the pokemon community in June. Seeing our pokemon friends is the highlight of our month! We’ll see you June 7th!
