Intro to Crochet (Ages 8–13)

Ready to get creative with yarn? In this fun and hands-on class, you’ll learn the basics of crochet—starting with how to make a slip knot, build a foundation chain, and master the single crochet stitch. These simple steps are the building blocks for making all kinds of cool projects.

To start, you’ll practice your new skills by making a small crochet square—your very first handmade piece! This project will help you get comfortable with the techniques and set you up for even more creative projects in the future.

You’ll also get to explore different yarns and crochet hooks, learning how each one can change the look and feel of what you make. Our friendly instructor will guide you step-by-step in a supportive environment, so you can learn at your own pace and have fun along the way.

This class is perfect for beginners who are curious about crochet or want to try something new. Just bring your imagination—we’ll provide everything else!
