July NC Canicross meetup at Forest Ridge Park

Meet your NC Canicross ambassadors Jessica and Vince at the Peninsula Trail at Forest Ridge Park on Sat, July 19, 2025 at 8:00 AM.

We have tester gear for humans/dogs of all sizes, and we welcome beginners who want to hike/do intervals/run!

This is a no-greet event for dogs, which means no-nose to nose greetings. This is a reactive dog friendly group, lets ensure everyone can enjoy!

We will be running a 3 ish total mile out and back on the penninsula trail to the lake (if you prefer single track trails, feel free to take the shoreline trail back to the parking area *Bring water and Feel free to turn around whenever you/dog need due to weather*

*As a general rule, please respect all dogs' space during canicross. NO on-leash, nose to nose greetings. This is not an event for dogs to be social with others, please keep space between your dog and the dog in front of you when running and announce if you're going to be passing. This is a reactive dog friendly group.


*I'll bring a water cooler for humans, but byo snacks :)
