🐥🐥Calling all Volunteers, Friends and Family of Freedom Ranch!
💢Saturday October 4th, at 9am is our annual Fall volunteer day. What makes this different than our monthly volunteer-days?? Well, we typically start on Friday afternoon and complete projects all day Saturday until we drop. Saturday night we have our bonfire🔥 and volunteer reception🏆 to include a hardy meal to satisfy everyone’s palate!
🐷But wait….It’s not too late for you to be part of this amazing event. Not only will you work your butt off, get fed well and be surrounded by our animal family, you will have the chance to meet new faces and work together to make a huge impact on so many lives!🐶
If you think you have what it takes to become a Freedom Ranch volunteer, then this is the ticket!
Now, we wouldn’t want you to think this will be easy.
Expect to work hard, very hard. Projects for this event include, building fences, gates, decks, walls, drainage, poop patrol💩, cleaning stalls, water and food bowls.
There will be plenty of sweat, laughter🎭 and tears of joy throughout the day! You can be part of this! The Choice is yours, choose wisely and experience something different, something life changing!!
💥All skill levels needed. If you are a contractor, or trades person, feel free to bring your own power tools🧰. We will have many projects🪜 that involve measuring cutting🪚screwing🪛 and nailing🔨 wood 🪵.
Bring work boots/muck boots, gloves and anything else you think will keep you safe! It will likely be muddy and there is no shortage of fire ants and other critters that like a tasty human treat. No open toe shoes will be permitted. No one under the age of 16. Ages 16 and 17 must volunteer with their guardian/parent.
This is a rain🌧️ or shine☀️event. Campsites🏕️ available upon request.
