Spend a few Sunday evenings in September with family and friends at E. Carroll Joyner Park, 701 Harris Road, while enjoying some great music and good times during the 2025 Concerts in the Park. “The Deloreans” will headline the first concert on Sunday, Sept. 7, followed by “The Phoebes” on Sunday, Sept. 14.
Free and open to everyone, these performances are scheduled from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Joyner Park amphitheater. Attendees are invited to bring a picnic, leashed pets, a blanket, or lawn chair and enjoy the music. However, alcoholic beverages, smoking, and unleashed pets are prohibited at Joyner Park.
As a bonus, on September 7 from 5-7 p.m., the Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Advisory Board will provide an array of organized games and activities as part of the 15th annual Wake Forest Unplugged. This free, family-friendly event offers area residents a unique opportunity to “disconnect” from their electronic devices and “reconnect” with their community, friends, and family.
