The 3rd Annual Cars and Carnivores Street Festival presented by The Rotary Club of Wake Forest returns to historic downtown Wake Forest, N.C., on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
Hours:
Car Show: 9 a.m. Check-in. Enter Brooks St from the north (Roosevelt/Wait Ave—near Norse Brewing, 203 Brooks). 2 p.m. Award Show
Steak Cookoff 10 a.m. Cook's Meeting, 4 p.m. Award Show
The street festival is set up on Brooks Street and E. Owen Avenue and is free for the public to visit the classic/modern car show and nationally sanctioned steak cookoff raising funds to pay off past-due medical bills for local cancer patients.

The Steak Cookoff, sanctioned and hosted by the Steak Cookoff Association (SCA), offers cash prizes for top grillers of ribeye steaks and a dessert category.
An SCA Certified Judge’s Class will be offered again this year on Friday, June 6, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at The Forks Cafeteria, 339 Brook St, Wake Forest. This class, open to anyone, is not only for those who want to become a certified judge for SCA competitions but will offer the knowledge of what judges are looking for in the competitions.
The 3rd annual car show is now accepting up to 150 car and truck entries online, in advance only, for $25 per car. Entries will be judged by a panel of experts and the public for Best of Show and People’s Choice trophies. Cars will enter at 9 a.m. and the show will end at 2 p.m. with an Awards program in front of Town Hall at the corner of Brooks Street & E. Owen Ave
