After School Cafe

Hannah’s House offers "After School Café" at the Big Pic, beginning Tuesday, October 14th. The Big Pic will be open exclusively for high school students on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3:30pm-5:30pm through December 9th. Students grade 9-12 are invited to relax with friends, do homework, play board games. Free (delicious!) food, beverages, Wi-Fi access.

*The Big Pic is closed to the public during the After School Cafe.

This 8-week pilot program created by Hannah's House in collaboration with the Big Picture is primarily funded by a grant from the Vermont Community Foundation. We've also received support for this program from Lawson's Finest Liquids, Mehuron's Supermarket and Red Hen Bakery. If this pilot is successful, we hope to continue this effort for our teen population! You can read online about the importance of "third spaces" for teens.
