Learn ngā tikanga o te harakeke - how I harvest and prepare the harakeke and whenu - weaving strips.
I prepare the harakeke for you.
You spend a relaxing day weaving with me and up to 4 other tauira - students and take home your very own Kete.
Kete are suitable projects for beginners.
I will guide you from start to finish. You just bring your lunch and enjoy creating in a fun and supportive environment.
KareNZ Kitz is a large studio workshop and Art Gallery in Waitara, by the river with views of park, garden and Art - Carvings.

$125 All-Natural Harakeke (boiled, not dyed/coloured)
$150 Half Natural and Half Dyed -1 colour
$175 All Dyed - 2 colours
$200 - 3 Colours
$225 - 4 Colours
