WHAT YOU WILL LEARN....

EQUIPMENT ESSENTIALS
Familiarisation of different packrafts and their uses. A basic understanding of all equipment and safety essentials needed for Packrafting and how to use them correctly.

PADDLING SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES
We will equip you with all of the basic paddle strokes and techniques that are specific to packrafting as well as the skills needed to maneuver your packraft around the river with confidence.

EFFECTIVE BOAT CONTROL
We will teach you how to sit in and maneuver your Packraft effectively and efficiently around the river. You will learn how to use the rivers features to help you.

SAFETY ESSENTIALS
Signals and ways to communicate on the river. A basic understanding of various river features and formations as well as njury prevention and shoulder awareness.

EXITS AND RESCUES
Learn how to exit a capsized packraft and re enter. Know how to self rescue and buddy rescue. Equip you with the knowledge on how to swim safely in the river.
