Beginner Sewing Class 102 - Pillowcase Class

Join us for a fun and hands-on sewing class where you'll learn how to make your very own tote bag from scratch! This class is a continuation of our 101 pilowcase class. Our talented instructor will teach you how to hem and press your seams in this class. This class is a prerequisite to the Beginner Sewing 103 Class. Please complete this class before moving to the next class. If you haven't taken the 101 class, please sign up for that one first before signing up for the 102 class.

You will learn how to create a pattern from scratch, how to cut to cut fabric, find your hem allowance with a seam gauge and how to properly press it into place using an iron. We provide materials you will need for class.

Mosaique Fabrics will fabric kits for class is available for purchase. You may purchase your fabric kit from the shop between the hours of 10am-4pm or you can pay the day of class for the fabric kits. If you would like to bring your own machine you can! Please be sure it is in good working condition.

All students are required to sign a waiver. Parents or guardians must accompany anyone under the age of 18 years, no acceptions. I encourage parents to help assist younger students during class. If only your child is taking the class you only need to purchase one ticket to reserve your place in class.
