Romeo & Juliet -- Divine 9 & HBCU Night

Join us for a special evening of Romeo & Juliet on Friday, June 13th as we honor Joycelyn Yvette Sharp, a beloved member of the Omega Omega Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and proud HBCU graduate of St. Augustine’s College. Through the artistry of her son, Clifford Clark, who takes on the title role in this unforgettable production, we celebrate her legacy and cherish her memory.

One year after her passing, we invite all members of the Divine Nine and Greek Life, HBCU graduates, students, and faculty to come together in unity and support. Let’s commemorate her memory through our collective encouragement, camaraderie, and the shared experience of this powerful performance.

This 90-minute immersive and modern retelling of Shakespeare’s classic takes place under the stars, on the scenic lawn of the Historic Lynnhaven House.
