Monster Drawing Rally

Watch art come to life and take it home the same night.

Monster Drawing Rally is a high-energy, live art-making event and fundraiser hosted by Generation MOCA, Virginia MOCA’s young leaders’ advisory council. Throughout the evening, 70+ local artists will create original drawings in one-hour shifts. Each finished piece is available for purchase for just $50. Proceeds benefit Virginia MOCA’s Artist Prize Fund, which supports and celebrates artists through a variety of awards and initiatives throughout the year.

Expect a fast-paced night full of creativity, with original art made and sold in real time. The museum galleries will be open, a DJ will keep the energy up, and food and drinks will be available for purchase. Come hang out, explore, and connect with artists and fellow art lovers.
