→ Liepos 31 d., ketvirtadienį, 18 val. Radvilų rūmų dailės muziejaus erdvėse vyks Rupert renginys „Administratorė ir entuziastė“, kuriame dalyvaus tarptautiniai Alternatyvios edukacijos programos (AEP) mentoriai. Tai vienintelis atviras Rupert AEP renginys prieš baigiamąjį festivalį lapkritį.
Vakaro programoje – performatyvi paskaita, videokūrinių peržiūra, perklausa ir diskusija, kviečianti permąstyti menininko, o kartu ir bet kurio kūrėjo ar darbuotojo, vaidmenį institucijose, balansavimą tarp skirtingų vaidmenų ir lūkesčių.
Rupert AEP atvirą paskaitą-dirbtuves organizuoja kartą per metus. Šiemet renginys vyks Radvilų rūmų dailės muziejaus didžiojoje salėje, kur lankytojus pasitiks vieni iš 2025-ųjų programos, pavadintos „Sekretorė, šamanė, akademikė, lobistė, publicistė ir virtuozė“, mentorių Vijai Maia Patchineelam ir Kris Dittel.
Pirmą kartą į Vilnių atvykstantys renginio dalyviai – menininkai (-ės) Vijai Maia Patchineelam ir Kris Dittel – atliepia „Administratorės ir entuziastės“ temą.
Vijai Maia Patchineelam (Brazilija, Indija) yra Berlyne gyvenantis menininkas, tyrėjas ir pedagogas. Savo praktikoje kūrėjas daugiausia dėmesio skiria dialogui tarp menininko ir meno institucijos. Plėtodamas šią tyrimais grįstą praktiką, jis išskiria menininko kaip darbuotojo vaidmenį, pasisako už stabilesnes menininkų pozicijas, kurios leistų jiems dalyvauti vidiniuose institucijų procesuose, ir eksperimentuoja su šia idėja.
Kuratorė ir rašytoja Kris Dittel yra kilusi iš Slovakijos, šiuo metu gyvena Roterdame. Ji neseniai išleido knygą „Unruly Kinships“, kurioje nagrinėja naujas tarpasmeninių santykių galimybes ir šiuolaikinio pasaulio suvokimą. Renginyje menininkė pristatys savo tyrimą, nagrinėjantį skirtingų mūsų tapatybių – asmeninės, profesinės ir įsivaizduojamos – sampyną. Menininkė taip pat skaitys ištrauką iš šiuo metu rašomos esė „Infinite Love Letter“ (liet. „Begalinis meilės laiškas“), kurioje susijungia laiško forma, asmeniški išgyvenimai ir teorinės įžvalgos.

Paskaitų ir kūrybinių dirbtuvių programą remia Lietuvos kultūros taryba ir Vilniaus miesto savivaldybė. Kitas Rupert programas taip pat remia Lietuvos kultūros institutas, Europos Sąjunga, Medijų rėmimo fondas, Nordic Culture Point, Goethe’s institutas Vilniuje, „Tech Zity“.
→ On Thursday, July 31 at 6 PM, “The Administrator and the Enthusiast”, an event organized by Rupert, will take place at the Radvila Palace Museum of Art. The event will feature international mentors from Rupert’s Alternative Education Program (AEP) and will be the only AEP event open to the public before the final festival in November.
The evening’s program includes a performative lecture, video screenings, a listening session, and a discussion, inviting the audience to reconsider the role of the artist—and by extension, any creator or worker—within institutions, and the balancing of different roles and expectations.
Rupert organizes one open lecture-workshop per year as part of the AEP. This year, the event will take place in the Grand Hall of the Radvila Palace Museum of Art, welcoming two of the 2025 program’s mentors, Vijai Maia Patchineelam and Kris Dittel/This year’s edition of the AEP is titled “The Secretary, the Shaman, the Scholar, the Lobbyist, the Publicist, and the Virtuoso”
Coming to Vilnius for the first time, artists Vijai Maia Patchineelam and Kris Dittel embody the event’s theme, “The Administrator and the Enthusiast.”
Vijai Maia Patchineelam (Brazil, India) is a Berlin-based artist, researcher, and educator. His practice centers on the dialogue between artists and art institutions. Through a research-driven approach, he explores the role of the artist as a worker, advocating for more stable positions for artists within institutions and experimenting with new models of engagement.
Kris Dittel, a curator and writer from Slovakia, currently resides in Rotterdam. She recently published the book Unruly Kinships, which examines alternative interpersonal relationships and contemporary worldviews. At the event, Dittel will present research on the interweaving of our personal, professional, and imagined identities. She will also read an excerpt from her ongoing writing project "Infinite Love Letter", which merges the format of a letter with personal experiences and theoretical insights.
