Ocean View Park - Invasive Species Removal

Join us in beautiful Ocean View Park to remove a variety of invasive species including Scotch Broom, Daphne, English Holly and Himalayan Blackberry. We will meet on the corner of Mary Anne Crescent and Hope Road.

Please wear comfortable clothing that covers your arms and legs to protect from thorny plants & insects. Wear comfortable, sturdy closed-toe shoes that allow you to safely walk on uneven ground. Bring eye protection (sunglasses or safety glasses) to wear. And finally, bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

We will provide training, tools, gloves, and snacks.

If this is your first volunteer event with Friends of Colwood Parks, we will assist you onsite to sign up with the City of Colwood volunteer program.
