We are unbelievably excited to announce, on the Sunday of Thanksgiving Long Weekend, the return of international techno heavyweight, Carlo Lio. He was last on the Island blowing minds at the second edition of Social Grooves out at Heritage Acres and he definitely left us wanting more. Calgary’s Mark Williams of Just Beats Inc., who rocked our opening night, and regularly plays with some of the biggest underground dance acts to come through Western Canada will be playing before Carlo. Rounding out the night we have Downbeat resident Audiofox playing an extended opening set. We love our opening sets to be handled by strong selectors who can warm up a room proper, passing off a popping dance floor for the headliner- so come early to see the whole arc of the night!

A Toronto-born DJ and producer, Carlo Lio has become a dominant force in the global techno and tech-house scene. With a signature sound characterized by deep, hypnotic grooves and precise, driving beats, he has built a reputation for delivering high-energy performances and cutting-edge productions.
In 2024, Lio continues to push boundaries with releases on respected labels, such as Nicole Moudabers “MOOD RECS”, Adam Beyers “Trusoul”, Marco Faraone’s UNCAGE”, Shermenlogy’s “D’eaupe”, Eats Everything “EDIBLE”, Along side his own imprint RAWTHENTIC & ON EDGE SOCEITY, there’s no slowing down showcasing his evolving style while maintaining the raw, pulsating energy that defines his work. His collaborations with industry heavyweights highlight his ability to adapt and innovate, keeping him at the forefront of the underground electronic music movement.
Beyond production, Lio is the co-founder of Rawthentic Music with Nathan Barato, a label dedicated to pushing quality underground sounds. His influence extends far beyond the studio, with performances at major festivals and renowned clubs worldwide, including Ibiza, Europe, North America, and South America.

Mark was first introduced to electronic music when he was a teenager. Finding his vibe deeply entrenched in all things house, but is really known for high energy sets leaning towards tech, whatever it takes to keeping the crowd dancing.
In 2016 Mark founded his own promotion company "Just Beats Inc." and has hosted numerous international acts from across the globe.

Coming to you from Victoria, B.C., Audiofox has a diverse repertoire of musical selections from
deep, tech, & bass house and most recently drum & bass. She’s set dance floors on fire since
2008 at numerous parties, clubs and festivals, including Otherworld, Lampress & Burningman.
She’s known for playing big, sexy, bass-driven beats with a distinct Audiofox sound.
