Wildlife Summer Camp II

Our camps offer a unique opportunity for children to immerse themselves in the great outdoors, honing skills in wildlife ecology, outdoor safety, and more.

Activities include
• Birds of Prey exhibitions by Freedom Ranch Outreach
• Electroshocking and fish studies by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks
• Mississippi Hunter Education Certification
• Fun on a Mississippi River sandbar
• Wildlife tours
• Open-air bus rides
• Alligator management and awareness
• Birding and woodsmanship
• Field games, fishing, canoeing, swimming, and much more

All camps are licensed by the Mississippi Department of Health, ensuring our campers a safe and enriching experience.

But Tara Wildlife Summer Camps aren’t just about canoeing, wildlife skills, and outdoor fun—they’re about giving kids real-world confidence, teamwork skills, and a lifelong love of nature.
