Tuesday Mindfulness Group in Verwood

GUIDED MONTHLY MINDFULNESS GROUP

TUESDAY 26TH AUGUST 2025
7.00pm - 8.15pm
Verwood Memorial Hall

This is an opportunity to connect with others, befriend your mind, thoughts and emotions and take some much needed time out.

During the session, you will be guided in mindfulness practices, meditations and gentle Qi Gong based movement to support you in your daily life and to cultivate a sense of stillness and balance.

We have been meeting monthly for the last two years and it's a wonderful opportunity to drop down out of our heads, with its habitual, constant overthinking, and into the body to settle and rest.

We sit on chairs but you are welcome to bring a mat and cushion to sit on the floor is you would prefer. There is plenty of parking directly outside the hall.

The mindfulness that I offer is secular and based on scientific evidence as recommended by the NHS and NICE https://www.nhs.uk/mental-health/self-help/tips-and-support/mindfulness/
