Join me for a beautiful morning of rest, relaxation and reblancing for Autumn.
In Chinese medicine, autumn is the energy of Metal and signifies a time where nature sheds it's leaves and lets go of what is not longer needed.
In this morning, we will gather and harvest the fruits of the summer month; reflecting and preparing for letting go as the season changes.
The Metal element is linked to the lungs and large intestine so we will include meditations, Qi Gong based mindful movement and relaxation practices to strengthen and support us mentally and emotionally.
The morning will include:
🧘♀️ A Settling Meditation, checking in with the body, emotions and mind and allowing ourselves to fully arrive in the shared space.
🌸 Gentle Qi Gong based mindful movement to support the mind-body connection and release stagnant energy and boost 'chi'.
🧘♂️ A longer guided meditation practice to relieve stress, improve the immune system and lower blood pressure.
🌸 Refreshments and homemade bakes.
🧘♂️ Mindful Walking (outside weather permitting) combined with a sound meditation of nature.
🌸 Relaxation meditation; setting up our yoga mats (or sitting on a chair if you prefer), creating a nest of blankets for a final deep relaxation meditation.
These days are suitable for everyone; as an introduction to mindfulness practices, if you are new to meditation, or an opportunity to deepen your practice if you already have some experience.
