Monthly Board Game Night - Theme: Engine Builders

“Engine-building” is often used as a catch-all genre for any game where you gradually improve your capabilities over time, by building a deck or tableau of cards, or a pool of tokens or dice.

They can be broken down into various sub-genres, including:

- tableau-building
(e.g. Splendor, Everdell, Terraforming Mars, Machi Koro, The Taverns of Tiefenthal, Space Team)

- deck-building
(e.g. Dominion, Lost Ruins of Arnak, Great Western Trail, Legendary Encounters, Star Realms, Clank!)

- dice-building or dice-crafting
(e.g. Dice Forge, Roll for the Galaxy, Too Many Bones)
