Games we're playing this season:
Bravecritters of Boysenberry Wood (Adventures RPG)
GM: Spencer O.
Description: Last night, the apple supply for Ol’ Pappy Pricklebury’s famous spiced scrumpy was burgled by a band of weasels. Eager to kick off your adventuring careers, you and your fellow mice, shrews, voles, and other bravecritters have taken on the task of tracking the weasels to their current hideout: one of the fabled mole tunnels mysteriously abandoned long ago. Will you recover the apples from the clutches of the mischievous weasels (and perhaps uncover some shiny trinkets and treasures along the way)? “Bravecritters of Boysenberry Wood” is a player-driven campaign of exploration and creative problem-solving, using the ultra-lightweight, D&D-compatible “Adventures RPG” system.
Frobozz Wand Supply and Repair (Tactica)
GM: Joe D.
Description: A cozy tactical RPG campaign where troubleshooting problems of a magical nature will require a wide range of skills and approaches. You never know when you'll need to negotiate with fae, perform "percussive maintenance" on golems, and avoid losing trade secrets to rivals all on the same day of field work.
Sunmirror (Blades in the Dark)
GM: Eric S.
Description: A crew of scoundrels throw together their last coin in a desperate attempt to make a name for themselves in the glittering districts of U'duasha, the Well City, capital of Iruvia, where the Five Keybearers rule under the reflected alien light of the U'du, the fallen star. Beyond the caldera's walls: the obsidian peaks of the Asha Mountains, the vast black sand of the Iruvian deserts, and the endless night.
Call of Cthulhu One Shots (Call of Cthulhu)
GM: Peter C.
Description: An ad hoc team of paranormal investigators finds themselves engaging in a series of dangerous, deadly, and maddening adventures hopping around the world to inquire into various mysterious goings-on. Great for people who can't commit to a whole campaign. Dark and paranormal themes, recommended for people 16+.
Warhammer Wrath and Glory 2E
GM: Bhargav A.
Description: Under the generous patronage and authority of Rogue Trader Jakel Varonius, a team of agents investigate the mysteries of the Gilead System, slay the vile xenos and chaos spawn of the Warp, and attempt to stay alive, as in the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war.
Pirate Latitudes (Savage Worlds - Pirates of the Spanish Main)
[continuing from winter season]
GM: Dave E.
Description: Swashbuckling in the 17th century, the golden age of piracy. You find yourself in Port Royal, Jamaica- the center of English power in the Caribbean and also home port to some of the most infamous pirates of the time. The region is roiled by the distant wars between the great powers of Europe. How will you navigate these stormy waters in pursuit of wealth and fame?
