Screening is now confirmed for the special screening of Maya and the Wave in Vernon at Galaxy Cinemas on Monday May 26 at 7 pm. Ten years in the making - @mayaanadthewave tells the story of Maya Gabeira who dreamed of surfing the biggest wave in the world. Her body, her mind, and society tried to stop her - but she never gave up. @Maya Gabeira surfed the biggest wave a woman has ever surfed in Nazaré, Portugal, not once - but twice.
