Book Talk: Into A Wilderness of the Soul - A New World of Earth and Mind by David LaBella

Our speaker is David LaBella, an author and photographer from Simsbury. David has been a award-winning professional photographer for the past 30 years and has been featured in over 100 group and juried art shows throughout southern New England and Westchester County. He has exhibited his images in New York’s Chelsea Art District and in San Francisco and Washington, D.C., and his essays on art and photography have appeared in numerous periodicals.

He is the author of Child of Plentiful Rain: A Personal Journey in Japanese Art and his latest work, Into A Wilderness of the Soul, A New World of Earth and Mind, which will be the subject of today’s presentation. His books combine his interest in art, history, and culture, and are here for your enjoyment. This evening’s event will begin with the book talk which will be followed by a question session, book signing, and informal reception.
