Vibraphonist/Marimbist, bandleader, composer & arranger Nick Mancini returns to Southern California to play a few live shows. Since relocating with his family to Tulsa, Oklahoma, Nick remains a creative force on the Los Angeles jazz scene – a distinction he’s held for 16+ years and running. He continues to bring his brilliant and entertaining live performances to the stage with some of his favorite LA musicians.
Throughout his illustrious career, Nick Mancini has shared the stage and collaborated with an array of musical luminaries, from Arturo Sandoval to Kamasi Washington. His performances have graced legendary venues in both New York and LA, with festival and club appearances that span the globe from Scandinavia to Australia, making him a truly international artist.
Nick boasts an ever-growing catalog of independently released recordings under his own name and is also dedicated to nurturing the next generation of jazz musicians as Coordinator of Jazz Studies at the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
