Author Tom McCann discusses his new book THE GUARDS, a comprehensive history of life guarding from Brigantine to Cape May since patrols were first organized in the late 1800’s. Also a brief history of the iconic VanDuyne surfboat, used by numerous beach patrols along the New Jersey coast offered by Cathy Van Duyne & Sue Van Duyne Hunter.
