Watercolor Workshop on the Beach!

Join us on the beach for a calming, beginner-friendly Watercolor Ocean Sunset Workshop, where we’ll explore the beauty of watercolor painting inspired by the setting sun over the ocean. With the sound of waves in the background and soft sand beneath your feet, you'll be guided through simple watercolor techniques—like wet-on-wet blending and soft layering—while painting your own dreamy ocean sunset.

As we create with water, we honor the truth that water is life—fluid, healing, and ever-changing. Just like the ocean, creativity flows best when we let go and allow it to move through us. This workshop is an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and return to ease and presence.

We believe art is for everyone. No experience is needed, and all are welcome.

Cost: $20 (includes all materials)No experience needed—just come as you are.

Location/Parking:

The closest parking lot (2100 Ocean Front Walk, Venice) costs $10 and is accessible on N Venice Blvd (& Speedway) or near IT'SUGAR Candy Store. Please note, this lot can get full on a Saturday. Of course, you can find street or meter parking which will be less expensive or free. This is more difficult later in the day.

More details:

1. Please arrive EARLY. We will begin promptly at 2 PM. It gets very busy in Venice Beach at this time. Please factor in traffic and parking.
2. We will be on the beach kneeling and sitting. We will have tarps but there will be sand. Feel free to bring a towel, blanket or chair.
3. Public bathrooms are walking distance from the location. I will also have a washing station at the site.
4. The whole event is 2 hours and will end at 4 PM.
