Let’s hit the sand and water to search for evidence of Florida’s prehistoric past in the “Shark Tooth Capital of the World”.
If you would like to join us to see what the shark tooth fossil hype is, you will experience this firsthand as you dig and sift for prehistoric fossils. You are guaranteed to leave with many fossilized shark teeth and other fossils.
The cost is $100 for adults and $35 for kiddos <12 who will also get a fossil hunting certificate.
I’ll bring all sanitized fossil hunting equipment for you to use for up to four (4) hours (weather permitting), and will demonstrate how to search for shark teeth then will ID your finds.

Please note, if you plan to collect shark’s teeth, invertebrates or plant fossils no fossil hunting permit is required. However, in order to collect anything else you must obtain a permit.
