Welcome to a very special evening to celebrate Ananda Yoga Studio's 12th year anniversary. A Ceremonial Concert with Sacred Cacao & live music with Michael Beck and friends. Join us for a joyful evening to sing mantras, medicine songs, dance, meditate and uplift eachother.
We are so happy to have the visit of our friend and fantastic musician Michael Beck from Copenhagen. A joyful musical journey bringing together different traditions from South America, Scandinavia and from the yoga tradition. With the help of the sacred cacao and Rape' from South America, we will connect with our heart, sing, dance, meditate and celebrate life.
Ananda in Sanskrit means bliss or infinite joy. It has been the intention with the studio to have a place where Ananda's energy can be present. A place where we can relax, be ourselves, feel joy and explore yoga & meditation. A place for spiritual/personal growth. I hope you will join us and help me celebrate 12 years with Ananda and create a fun and uplifting evening.
The ceremony is held in English by Michael Beck and Ernesto Rodriguez.
Cocoa and Rape' ceremony:
A ceremony has a meditative state, an intention and an openness to look within and work with yourself through chanting, praying, meditating and using our minds and hearts.
Cacao is a sacred plant in South/Central American cultures and has been used for ages for medicinal, spiritual and ceremonial purposes. It is known as "The Food of the Gods" in many of these cultures. The effect of raw cacao in a ceremonial context can be many, but it is most often described as "opening the heart", which makes one feel deeper joy, energy and love. With the help of live music, songs and a state of meditation and openness, cocoa can bring joy, love and hope into our lives.
During the ceremony, there will be an opportunity to offer Rapé to anyone who wants to try it (optional). Rape' is a ceremonial tobacco mixed with ashes and spices that is prepared into a powder by the indigenous people of the Amazon. Rape’ is considered a teacher and the most common medicine in the rainforest. Rape' can add another level of energy and clarity to the mind and can help get in touch with other aspects of yourself (emotions, thoughts, sensations, etc.) and it can also clear you of impurities/negativity. For those interested, we will explain more about this when we meet.

Michael Beck:
Michael Beck is a gifted musician from Copenhagen, a spaceholder and a dedicated student of life. For almost 20 years Michael has been doing sessions with a variety of bodyworks, therapeutical work, clairvoyance sessions and he has been organizing and facilitating many workshops, trainings, lectures and ceremonies, working together with different spiritual teachers, shamans and musicians from all over the world.
Michael’s work and inspiration comes from many years of working with different spiritual teachers, indigenous shamans and traditions. In his ceremony Michael shares both his strong intuitive words, and vulnerable music and songwriting and the space is held with a sincere, loving, humble, safe, calm and joyful energy. Sacred teachings flow naturally from the music that guides you into the heart.

Ernesto Rodriguez:
Ernesto äger och driver Ananda Yoga Studio sedan 2013. Han arbetar som yoga- och meditationsinstruktion, som holistisk coach, Past life-regressionsterapeut och erbjuder ett antal holistiska behandlingar. En tibetansk buddhist och yogi i hjärtat, Ernesto har en fascination för olika typer av visdom, kunskap, forskning, filosofi and modern vetenskap. Hans 20-åriga andlig resa har tagit honom in i olika studieområden och han fick möjlighet att lära sig första hand av olika andliga lärare, gurus, munkar, Tibetanska Lama/Rinpoche, shamaner/Curanderos och healers från olika traditioner. Han kombinerar alla sina kunskap på ett praktiskt och holistiskt sätt och med enkelhet, ärlighet och vänlighet försöker Ernesto att vara till hjälp för andra människor.
